Elwood Staffing would like to inform job seekers about potential employment scams that involve individuals posing as our recruiters to solicit job seekers with job opportunities unrelated to our company. This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.What steps should you take if you suspect you’ve received a fraudulent text?
- Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
- If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.
Helping you stay secure – how to recognize a scam
- Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.
- Our recruiters will never ask for personal information such as your social security number, date of birth, or bank information prior to onboarding. During onboarding you will enter your information and passcode protect it.

Quality Inspector Details:

Direct Hire position

$40,000.00 to $45,000.00 /annually

First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

Inspect incoming materials for color match, core size, unwind direction, and defects.

Monitor production lines for print clarity, registration, and color consistency.

Perform final pallet quality checks before shipment, ensuring accuracy and defect-free products.

Execute quarantine procedures for nonconforming products, update records, and coordinate resolutions.

Maintain accurate quality records, complete NCMRs, and conduct required product tests.

Prepare and verify customer samples and pilot program shipments.
Quality Inspector Qualifications:
- Prior experience in quality inspection for printing and labeling.
- Strong attention to detail with ability to detect visual and dimensional defects.
- Proficient in documenting findings and maintaining accurate records.
- Effective communicator, able to report and resolve quality concerns promptly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment with shifting priorities.
