Achieving quality-built homes through continuous improvement of strategy and processes impacting design, procurement, and product operations.What are the primary responsibilities?
- Provide technical expertise, training and facilitation across the technical functions including Architecture, Purchasing, Operations, and Construction to promote continuous improvement of product and processes.
- Support the development and improvement of trade partners and suppliers to ensure full alignment with company expectations for providing quality and customer satisfaction.
- Manage, coach and mentor individuals and teams within the company and within Trade Partner groups to create sustainable knowledge and evaluate overall levels of competency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers to identify opportunities for improvement,engage in problem resolution and develop preventive solutions.
- Monitor and assess operational effectiveness and technical complicance against established standards and metrics.
- Utilize available date to ensure fact-based decision making and accurate and timely reporting.
- Manage assogned team members to ensure maximum eficiency,effectiveness and productivity.
- Monitor team performance to ensure consistency and implement corrective action as necessary.

Be the suvject matter expert regarding company techincal standards, code requirements, specifications and other relevenat regulatory requirements.

Ability to develop relationships and interact with cross-functional peers, internal and external technical professionals, trade partners and building officials.

Manage daily activities of your team to meet department and company goals

Maintain regular communication with immediate superviosor and department leadership

Develop the capabilities and competencies of your team
Do you have these qualifications?
-
Essential:
-
3 to 5 years in construction as a construction manager, quality manager or another technical role requiring good overall technical competency in residential construction.

Minimum 25% travel across states and assigned markets.

Preferred:
-
Formal education in construction related field, 2-year or 4-year degree
-
Trade apprenticeship with 5+ years of experience working in that trade
