Project Manager – Elevate Finance Transformation Initiative
Job Category: FA – Finance & AccountingJob Description: Elevate is a multi-year, global finance transformation program aimed at modernizing and streamlining financial operations across the organization. Leveraging Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM platforms, Elevate encompasses a series of multi-phase releases that span core financial processes, technical architecture, data conversion, testing, deployment, and change management. The initiative is structured around 15 integrated workstreams and governed through strategic, tactical, and operational layers to ensure alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.The Project Manager will support the Elevate initiative during its Implementation Phase. This role will be responsible for coordinating cross-functional workstreams, managing stakeholder communications, overseeing testing and deployment activities, and ensuring alignment with governance structures. The Project Manager will play a critical role in driving successful delivery across multiple releases and ensuring the program meets its strategic objectives.Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate activities across the Elevate workstreams including (but not limited to) Record-to-Report (R2R), Source-to-Pay (S2P), Invoice-to-Cash (I2C), Invoice-to-Pay (I2P), Acquire-to-Retire (A2R), Project-to-Close (P2C), and Plan-to-Budget (P2B).
- Manage multi-phase release cycles (Confirm, Design-Build, Test, Deploy, Sustain/PGLS) and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans using Azure DevOps and MS Project; track milestones, dependencies, and risks.
- Facilitate workshops for Functional Key Design Decisions (FKDDs), process flows, and RICEW object development.
- Coordinate testing activities including SIT, UAT, regression, and performance testing; manage defect triage and resolution.
- Coordinate cutover planning, dry runs, go-live readiness, and post-go-live support activities.
- Ensure deliverables meet acceptance criteria and are approved.
- Partner with Change Management leads to activate the Change Influencer Network, execute communications plans, and measure adoption.
- Interface with strategic, tactical, and operational governance bodies; prepare and present status reports, risk logs, and value scorecards.
- Monitor and enforce Buyer and Vendor responsibilities as defined in the RACI matrix.
- Ensure compliance with program governance, confidentiality, and data access protocols.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of project management experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional teams and complex project schedules.
- Proven ability to lead multi-phase programs with global scope and diverse stakeholder groups.
Preferred:
- Experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM platforms.
- Proficiency in Azure DevOps and Microsoft Project for project planning and tracking.
- Familiarity with global rollout programs, including change management and stakeholder engagement across regions.
- Understanding of financial processes such as Record-to-Report, Source-to-Pay, and Plan-to-Budget.
- Experience with testing coordination, data conversion, and deployment planning.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; ability to engage senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
Reporting Structure & Collaboration:
- Reports to the Elevate Project Management lead.
- Collaborates closely with Church and workstream leads.
- Engages with strategic, tactical, and operational governance bodies, including Steering Committees and program leadership.
- Partners with initiative teams to ensure cohesive execution.
