New Product Development Engineer

A Day in Your Life at MKS: As a Systems Engineer at MKS, you will partner with Multifunctional groups to develop, support, execute, new Pulsed DC/ RF generator products. In this role, you will report to the Engineering New Product Manager.

You Will Make an Impact By:

• Creating Specification documents, PC assemblies, interconnect drawings, manuals, cable assay drawings etc…
• Creating and implementing DVT test plans
• Creating BOMs for generators
• Preparing and tabulating DVT data for product phase releases
• Working with other development groups for Manufacturing assay and testing.
• Travel Requirements: Up to 5 % of Travel may be required.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s of Science degree Electrical/Electronics
• 2+Years of job-related work experience
• Experience working in a new product development role
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
• Able to work in a team environment
• Excellent communication skills

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position for 10% of the time
• Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery
• Occasionally moves/positions Generators and/or equipment up to 20 pounds
• This job operates in a professional office and laboratory environment
• Travel Requirements: Up to 5 % of Travel may be required on occasion

Preferred Skills: (Optional)

• Experience with Python
• Experience with electronic simulations

Compensation and Benefits: Salary Pay Range: $74,768.00 – $120,000.00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.

Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS.
