The Managing Director will serve as both a strategic leader and a producer, balancing client acquisition with team development.

++Key Responsibilities++

++Business Development & Client Leadership++

  • Originate and lead new client relationships across hedge funds, private equity firms, venture capital firms, and investment banks.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, providing tailored insight into hiring strategies and market intelligence.
  • Deliver strategic growth through consistent new business generation and expansion of existing accounts.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and networking forums to strengthen market presence.

++Team Leadership & Management++

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of recruiters to consistently achieve and exceed targets.
  • Provide strategic direction on search execution, ensuring best-in-class delivery to clients.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture with a focus on accountability, professional development, and excellence.
  • Implement and refine processes to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.

++Search Execution & Market Insight++

  • Partner with clients from initial briefing through to successful placement, ensuring an exceptional client and candidate experience.
  • Leverage extensive market knowledge to provide intelligence on industry trends, talent movements, and competitive insights.
  • Maintain active involvement in high-priority searches, setting the standard for quality and execution.

++Qualifications & Experience++

  • Proven track record in executive search or recruitment, with a focus on financial services.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development and building long-term client relationships.
  • Experience leading, managing, and developing high-performing recruitment teams.
  • Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to drive both revenue and operational excellence.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
