Requirements

Must have:

– Experience in leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large-scale infrastructure. – Proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust. – Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems. – Experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes. – A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on development experience in SAP Manufacturing/MES modules (PP, PP-PI, ME, MII) and ABAP programming. – Proven track record in developing and maintaining SAP manufacturing solutions, including custom interfaces, RFC connections, and integration with shop floor systems utilizing standard SAP tools and methodologies. – Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions, alongside experience in the full software development lifecycle in an SAP environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design, development, and implementation of SAP MII projects associated with Enterprise Systems to enable rapid development and production of Space Hardware. – Conduct defect analysis and execute necessary fixes and enhancements. – Collaborate with functional owners, architects, and team members to create dynamic and responsive systems that cater to the evolving demands of internal manufacturing customers. – Review program code and rectify MII program errors while maintaining and updating existing program codes as required. – Develop technical specifications and project estimations, ensuring compliance with programming and documentation standards, while promptly addressing production problems. – Active involvement in Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, and MES startup to confirm compliance with customer needs. – Develop SAP ME and SAP MII-based solutions, including reports and deployment activities, integrating with ERP and Shop Floor Systems. – Lead the development of SAP MII applications to extract real-time and historical data from various data sources for reporting and analysis. – Create web applications utilizing SAP MII, PCo, Kepware, and SAP S/4 HANA, alongside developing printing labels, receipt documents, and shop floor forms within the MII system.

Preferred Qualifications: – Experience with distributed systems at scale. – SAP certification in Manufacturing modules (particularly ME/MII) and experience with SAP S/4HANA Manufacturing, including implementation and migration in complex settings. – Familiarity with modern SAP development tools (SAP BTP, SAP Fiori, UI5) and integration technologies (OData, REST APIs, IDocs), along with knowledge of manufacturing automation protocols (OPC UA, MQTT). – Previous experience in regulated manufacturing industries (e.g., Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices), with an understanding of GMP/FDA validation requirements, and expertise in crafting compliant solutions within SAP environments.
