Position: Java Developer

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $50 $120/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize REST and GraphQL APIs.
  • Implement backend validation, error handling, and security best practices.
  • Manage database migrations, schema updates, and performance optimization.
  • Test AI-powered developer tools and provide structured feedback through reports and documentation.
  • Participate in intensive testing cycles focused on AI-assisted coding workflows.
  • Collaborate with research and engineering teams to improve developer tooling experiences.
  • Submit detailed evaluations and insights on AI model performance and usability.

Requirements

  • Strong professional experience in Java backend development.
  • Proficiency in REST API and GraphQL development.
  • Experience with Spring Boot and backend architecture best practices.
  • Strong understanding of database migrations, schema design, and optimization.
  • Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Cursor or similar platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in remote, fast-paced environments.
