Role: Jr DevOps Engineer

Location: Forth Worth, TX )(Hybrid Onsite)

Duration: 12 months

Visa: OPT EAD

The manager is requiring a Macbook M3 or M4 for the contractor.

Top 3-5 skills: DevOps and CI/CD Basics – Understands how code is built, deployed, validated, and supported JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS AngularJS, React JSON, XML, Postman Cloud infrastructures (i.e. Azure, Kubernetes, Docker containers, etc.) Unit testing frameworks (Jest) Test Driven Development (TDD) and using testing tools

ALL YOU LL NEED FOR SUCCESS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training

2 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale solutions in production environments

DevOps and CI/CD Basics – Understands how code is built, deployed, validated, and supported

JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS

AngularJS, React

JSON, XML, Postman

Cloud infrastructures (i.e. Azure, Kubernetes, Docker containers, etc.)

Unit testing frameworks (Jest)

Test Driven Development (TDD) and using testing tools

Self-sufficient and self-motivated team member with a strong interest in creating clean and maintainable software applications

The resource should be energetic and eager to learn, bringing a proactive attitude to the team environment and work culture

Participates in all phases of the software development life cycle

Collaborates with Product Owners, Architects, and other Developers to develop and enhance applications based on end-user requirements

Builds, deploys, validates, and supports clean, maintainable code and documents features for future reference

Actively participates in Agile ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives

Manages version control through Git and GitHub when creating branches, committing code, and engaging in peer reviews

Preferred but not required skills:

Basic UI/UX principles

Rest APIs – fetching and displaying data

Implementing and debugging tags

Understanding data layers and event tracking

Experience with Tealium iQ, Tealium AudienceStream (if applicable)

Familiarity with analytics tools (Adobe Analytics) if integrated via Tealium.
