This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks.What steps should you take if you suspect you’ve received a fraudulent text?

  • Job-seekers who receive an unsolicited text, email, or similar message suggesting it is from Elwood Staffing should not provide any information.
  • If you have clicked a suspicious link or shared your information, take steps to secure your personal and financial accounts immediately. Review and dispute any unauthorized charges.

  • Elwood Staffing does not utilize mobile apps or messenger services to connect with job seekers. We will not reach out to you through or suggest that you use WhatsApp or other messaging platforms outside of regular SMS text messaging for communication.

Electrical Maintenance Technician Details:

  • Direct Hire position

  • $62,400.00 to $72,000.00 /annually

  • First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 04:30pm)

  • Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, control panels, PLCs, and automated production equipment.

  • Install, calibrate, and maintain electrical components including motors, sensors, drives, and wiring to ensure safe and efficient operation.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose and resolve equipment issues.

  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime, support continuous improvement, and uphold safety and compliance standards.

Electrical Maintenance Technician Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/ GED
  • 2 or more years of experience in electrical maintenance in a manufacturing setting
