Position: Data Scientist

Type: Hourly contract

Compensation: $20 – $75/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, and preprocess diverse datasets to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis.
  • Develop, validate, and implement statistical and predictive models to generate actionable insights.
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
  • Create data visualizations and reports for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute end-to-end data science projects.
  • Improve analytical methodologies and automate data workflows to enhance efficiency.
  • Communicate data-driven findings and recommendations through clear written and verbal presentations.

Requirements

  • Strong expertise in statistics, mathematics, and data analysis techniques.
  • Strong experience handling, cleaning, and analyzing large and complex datasets.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, or similar tools for data manipulation and modeling.
  • Strong experience building and validating predictive and statistical models.
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Matplotlib, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
