Data Insight and Reporting Analyst

Client: health insurance company

Location: on-site 3 days per week in Philadelphia, PA

Duration: contract to hire (eligible to convert after 90 days on contract)

The Data & Insight Reporting Analyst:

• Conducts data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutions.
• Captures, develops, and documents data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements.
• Creates and produces dashboards, reports, ad hoc requests, forecasts, etc.
• Interprets data, analyzes results, and provides insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities.
• Develops reports and deliverables for management and communicate with all levels of stakeholders.
• Identifies and defines both process and data improvements.
• Ensures compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree preferred
• 3 years experience building dashboards in Tableau
• Strong analytical skills and ability to tell a story , as well as provide recommendations with data trends.
• Experience with different applications and querying languages used by the business, SQL proficiency is a must have, and preference to experience with Python, R Studio, Power BI
• Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions.
• Works independently; receives minimal guidance.
• Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience
