Control Panel Layout Technician
SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Control Panel Layout Technician for a client in Plano TX. The Control Panel Layout Technician is responsible for the layouts and installs all hardware on back panels and enclosures. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation $18-$20 depending on experience as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire. Available shifts include 7am-4pm Monday- Friday. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Control Panel Layout Technician:
- Login to the appropriate software database based on the project number as shown on the drawing(s).
- Check out all hardware from the parts staging cage.
- Layout all hardware and materials according to the drawing(s) provided.
- Drill and install all parts onto the back panel.
- Make sure all empty boxes are kept until the job ships.
- Make sure all paper work for each part is kept with the panel.
- Cut/Hole-punch enclosures according to the provided drawing(s).
- Install all required hardware on the enclosure.
- Locate and designate any hardware that needs to be “loose shipped” with project.
- Return any unused hardware for the back pan or enclosure.
- Complete the layout check sheet supplied with drawing(s).
Required Qualifications of the Control Panel Layout Technician:
- This position requires a significant amount of bending and standing
- Must be able to lift at least 75 pounds at any time
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to read wiring schematic
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 2 year prior experience preferred
