Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Capital Markets and Treasury products. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of financial instruments, trade life cycles, and regulatory processes, along with the ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to Treasury and Capital Market products. Contribute to system enhancements and testing activities, ensuring alignment with business and compliance needs. Manage and support the end-to-end trade life cycle for Fixed Income securities, including reference data such as interest rates, ratings, and FX rates. Work on accounting processes for HTM (Held to Maturity) and AFS (Available for Sale) instruments. Support Repos, Reverse Repos, Pledges, and intercompany borrowing processes. Handle Eurodollar and Fed Funds transactions with strong understanding of Money Market trade accounting. Work with real-time trade settlement systems (e.g., MTS). Analyze and validate different types of Derivative trades, including: Plain vanilla swaps Bermudan swaps Exotic derivatives TRS, FRA, Basis swaps, European swaps, and Swaptions Ensure accuracy of cashflows, curves, and related accounting entries. Possess working knowledge of CFTC process and Regulatory Reporting requirements. Translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive functional and technical documents for the IT/development team. Participate in testing, validation, and issue resolution to ensure successful implementation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Tester within Capital Markets / Treasury domain. Strong understanding of Fixed Income, Money Market, and Derivative products. Exposure to trade life cycle, settlement systems, and regulatory processes. Hands-on experience in financial accounting concepts (HTM, AFS, etc.). Basic technical knowledge batch or server-related processes, and SQL. Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively with business users, technology teams, and operations.
