Job Description

We are seeking a talented Azure Developer to join our backend development team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic of our application. You will work with our team of engineers to build a robust and scalable backend that supports our AI-powered features and our React-based frontend.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Python code.

Develop and maintain our backend services and APIs.

Integrate with our NoSQL database (Azure Cosmos DB) and other Azure services.

Collaborate with other developers to ensure seamless integration of the user-facing elements with the server-side logic.

Implement security and data protection best practices.

Optimize our application for speed and scalability.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to our team’s high standards of code quality.

Requirements

Proven experience as a backend developer.

Strong proficiency in Python.

Experience with a major web framework (e.g., Flask, FastAPI).

Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably Azure Cosmos DB.

Familiarity with developing and consuming RESTful APIs.

Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.

Experience with version control systems, such as GitLab.

Understanding of property graphs and experience with Apache Gremlin/Cosmos DB Graph.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
