Job Description:

  • We are seeking an experienced AS400 RPGLE Developer to design, develop, and maintain robust applications using AS400 technologies.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, and related tools, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and ensure alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test, and implement applications using AS400, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, RPG ILE Concepts, CLLE/400, DB2/400, SQL/400, and Job Scheduler.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with business objectives.
  • Maintain and enhance existing systems to improve performance and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Document technical specifications and project progress for stakeholder communication.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in AS400, RPGLE/400, and SQL development.
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and methodologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Should Have:

  • Experience with modern development tools and technologies.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with global teams.
