- Prepare flavor samples and basic formulations to support the work of more senior scientists
- Be part of the team who is focused on artificial color conversion to natural colors on different applications.
- Organize and maintain the laboratory, including managing supplies and restocking materials
- Set up and assist with sensory screenings and help maintain the internal flavor library
- Participate in team workshops, customer visits, and occasional travel with a manager and sales team
- Operate basic laboratory tools and testing equipment while following proper procedures
- Support pilot runs and contribute to internal innovation discussions
- Handle basic mathematical conversions and document all work according to established guidelines
What you’ll bring
- A degree in a science-related field or equivalent laboratory experience
- At least some previous hands-on work in a lab, with an interest in food and beverage applications
- A keen attention to detail, strong organizational habits, and a focus on time management
- Comfort working in a fast-moving environment and ability to stand for extended periods
- Willingness to lift moderate weights occasionally, typically up to a full box of supplies
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
- A desire to learn and grow your technical knowledge and creative problem-solving skills
