What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Accurately post daily cash receipts from multiple sources and ensure correct application to customer accounts
- Serve as liaison to regional accounting departments nationwide to address account inquiries and ensure consistency
- Monitor aging reports, contact customers regarding open balances, and document collection activities
- Assist with month-end closing responsibilities and comply with deadlines
- Provide general administrative support, including answering calls and maintaining office cleanliness
What Is Required (Qualifications)
- Minimum two (2) years’ recent experience in office accounting (Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, collections, bookkeeping)
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher in accounting, business, finance, or similar preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality of sensitive information
