Accounting Specialist
$70 $95 per hour | 20+ hours per week | Remote Role Overview Design enterprise accounting and audit evaluation frameworks across complex reporting, compliance, and controllership environments.

This role offers exposure to sophisticated financial reporting structures, large-scale control programs, and advanced technical accounting scenarios.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise accounting scenarios involving multi-entity consolidations, intercompany structures, and multi-currency reporting environments
• Create SEC reporting evaluations spanning quarterly filings, annual disclosures, and public-company reporting workflows
• Build large-scale SOX and internal control assessment frameworks aligned to integrated audit environments
• Author technical accounting scenarios covering revenue recognition, lease accounting, business combinations, income taxes, and IFRS-to-US GAAP conversions
• Design accounting workflows within enterprise ERP ecosystems including SAP S/4HANA and Oracle Cloud ERP

Core Requirements

• Strong background in corporate accounting, controllership, technical accounting, or external audit within large public-company environments
• Deep familiarity with SEC reporting obligations, enterprise close cycles, and internal control frameworks
• Advanced knowledge of ASC 606, ASC 842, ASC 805, ASC 740, and related technical accounting guidance
• Fluency in enterprise ERP environments supporting complex financial operations and reporting structures
• Ability to produce precise, technically rigorous accounting analyses and evaluation materials

Additional Strengths

• Experience with PCAOB audit environments or integrated audit programs
• Prior authorship of accounting training materials, technical guidance, or operational assessment frameworks
• Strong judgment across multinational reporting structures and cross-border accounting considerations
