The certified Pharmacy Technician will 1) fill unit dose orders, 2) fill cassettes, 3) package unit dose medications, 4) interact with other departments both verbally and in writing, 5) manage the hospital floor stock system, 6) perform discrepancy reconciliation, 7) interact with patients, 8) prepare large volume IV’s, 9) prepare piggy back IV’s, 10) assist in purchasing pharmaceuticals, 11) calculate formulations and 12) participate in hospital wide activities and committees.
