QA Lab Lead — 2nd Shift (Food Testing)

Lead our food quality efforts on the 2nd shift! Perform hands-on lab testing, ensure GMP/HACCP compliance, and mentor a growing QA team. Make an impact, drive improvements, and grow into a supervisory role in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Pay : $24-$26/hr

Schedule : Mon-Thu 3:30p-2:00am

Type of Job : Contract to Permanent

Location : Elk Grove Village, IL

QA Lab Lead (Food Testing) Daily Tasks: What you will do:

• Performs routine and non-routine testing of raw materials, in-process, and finished products to ensure safety and quality

• Conduct quality testing and monitor product deviations.

• Maintain lab documentation, COAs, and sample control programs.

• Calibrate and maintain lab equipment; manage supplies.

• Train and mentor QA Technicians; drive lab improvements.

• Enforce food safety standards and recommend solutions for recurring issues.

QA Lab Lead (Food Testing) Qualifications/Requirements:

• Experience in food quality/lab testing and documentation

• Knowledge of GMP, SSOP, HACCP; SQF certification a plus

• Reliable, able to work independently, and mentor others

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
