Job Description:

  • XXgn, develop, and implement web applications using Oracle APEX.
  • Translate technical systems specifications into working, tested applications.
  • Develop detailed programming specifications, write and/or generate code, compile data-driven programs, maintain, and conduct unit tests.
  • Troubleshoot technical problems during the use and operation of software packages, including technical assistance in implementation, conversion, and migrations.

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Experience with advanced APEX features like interactive reports, charts, and dynamic actions.
  • Writing complex procedures/pkg/views/scripts to handle data de-normalization, extraction, transformation, and loading.
  • Relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server), data modelling (relational & dimensional), advanced SQL, query optimization, data replication, administration.
  • Cloud technologies (Azure, Google, AWS).
  • Conducting technical evaluation and assessment of options for technical design issues, configuration aspects, integration capabilities, related tools and utilities, and gap analysis.
  • Technical analysis, Oracle APEX program code, detailed programming and reports specifications, program design, coding, and unit testing.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in developing applications using Oracle APEX.
  • Experience utilizing Oracle REST Data Services (ORDS) to create RESTful APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of application design, deployment, and troubleshooting.
  • Relational and hierarchical database technologies.
  • Object-oriented or third-generation language development tools.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate with IT professionals throughout the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Experience with query languages and information retrieval packages.
  • Knowledge of structured methodologies for development, design, implementation, and maintenance of applications.
  • Experience eliciting and documenting information from diverse business stakeholders.

Experience:

  • 5 years with Oracle APEX, advanced SQL (PL/SQL, TSQL), and relational databases.
  • Designing, building, automating, and optimizing ETL/ELT processes.
  • Cloud platforms: Azure, Google, AWS.
  • PL/SQL programming for data warehousing, data migration, and data integration across platforms.
  • Using GitHub for version control, JIRA/Azure DevOps for issue tracking.
  • Oracle Enterprise Candidateager, Data Guard, Oracle Exadata, Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB).
  • Recovery and refresh of environments using RMAN.
  • Analysis, design, and development of complex, multi-tier web-based applications.
  • End-to-end SDLC with Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.

Should Have:

  • Knowledge of Internet-ready applications, RAD and Agile methodologies.
  • Middleware and gateway experience.
  • Ability to provide post-implementation support.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (AODA or similar).
  • Ability to provide user and system documentation as required.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications in Oracle, SQL, or cloud technologies are a plus.
