Job Description

We are seeking experienced Appian Developers to join our team in Plano, TX and Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Appian UI development (18x/19x/20x), SAIL coding, and building end-to-end BPM solutions. This role involves working closely with analysts and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deliver secure, scalable, and efficient Appian applications.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and deploy Appian BPM/ UI applications (18x/19x/20x).

  • Develop SAIL interfaces, Web APIs, Expression Rules, Constants, Process Models, CDTs, Records, Sites, and Integrations.

  • Break down requirements into deliverable work units and provide technical solutions in the context of a larger application.

  • Debug, unit test, integration test, and document application enhancements.

  • Create user guides for new projects and enhancements.

  • Collaborate with QA, DB developers, and business analysts to ensure high-quality deliverables.

  • Support CI/CD pipeline processes for Appian deployments.

  • Perform root cause analysis and resolve production issues as required.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of hands-on Appian UI development and BPM implementation.

  • Expertise in Appian SAIL, Process Models, Smart Services, Tempo, Forums, Reports, and Deployment.

  • Strong knowledge of Appian Objects: Records, Sites, Actions, Constants, Decisions, Connected Systems, Data Stores, Groups.

  • Experience with Appian integrations (Web APIs, Interface Rules).

  • Familiarity with database design and integration with Appian.

  • Strong debugging, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Appian versions 18x, 19x, or 20x.

  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and SDLC best practices.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipeline for Appian.

Note:

  • Plano, TX role offers hybrid/onsite option.

  • Charlotte, NC role requires in-person onboarding and onsite presence.
