++Job Summary:++

Under general supervision, following established policies, procedures and professional guidelines, provides evaluation, treatment, and education to patients involved in industrial rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, wellness and sports medicine. Provides consultation and education to employees and healthcare staff. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of Tampa General Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in exercise physiology or physical education.

• Certified athletic trainer’s credentials and Cardiac Stress Testing Certification.

• Complete a Registered Pulmonary Function Test exam and license within one year of hire if working in the Respiratory Care setting.
