What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Compile and complete a business requirements document to define project needs
• Utilize Agile methods to analyze and document business functions and requirements
• Consult with management and personnel to identify operational procedures and objectives
• Analyze the integration of business functions with technology to enhance efficiency
• Build and support the management and prioritization of the product backlog

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience as a Business Analyst, including eliciting, analyzing, and documenting business functions
• At least two (2) years of experience in Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven experience in creating requirements documentation for complex projects

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with government modernization projects, particularly in regulatory or licensing systems
• Business Analysis certifications such as PMI-PBA or CBAP
• Quality assurance testing of application software
• Experience creating operating procedures, user guides, and/or training material
• Familiarity with wireframing/mockup tools such as Figma
