What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Develop business requirements and build comprehensive project plans
• Manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely and high-quality deliverables
• Report project status and strategies both orally and in writing to various stakeholders
• Collaborate with internal and external teams, including vendors, to compile necessary information for project plans
• Engage effectively with diverse interests to ensure project alignment and success

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 3 years of project management experience, particularly in a healthcare insurance IT environment
• Proven experience in project planning, including resource allocation and effort estimation
• Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to present to executive management
• Ability to manage multiple high-profile projects simultaneously

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with Medicaid or healthcare delivery systems
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Familiarity with risk management in project planning
• Experience using project management tools such as Visio, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Strong background in stakeholder engagement and team collaboration
