What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Organize and conduct all Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
• Train and coach team members on agile processes to ensure consistent understanding and application
• Execute functional testing of web application features and document defects clearly
• Build, maintain, and expand automated regression test suites using various testing frameworks
• Collaborate with developers to define clear acceptance criteria and ensure stories are testable

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• 4+ years of applicable experience in software quality assurance and testing
• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of additional relevant experience
• Certified Scrum Master or equivalent certification, or 2 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks including Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
• 1+ year of experience with performance and load testing tools such as NeoLoad or JMeter

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with the federal government
• Degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• DHS Trusted Tester certification or equivalent accessibility certification
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container-based deployment patterns
• Experience testing on open-source applications
