What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Oversee all accounts payable processes for carriers, vendors, and subcontracted logistics partners
• Supervise and develop accounts payable specialists across multiple customer accounts
• Serve as the primary escalation point for payment status and disputes with carriers and vendors
• Lead improvements in accounts payable workflows and develop key performance indicators
• Identify and lead initiatives to automate or streamline Procure-to-Pay processes

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of accounts payable experience, with at least 2-3 years in a 3PL, transportation, or freight-billing environment
• Strong understanding of carrier contracts, accessorials, and freight terms
• Experience managing high-volume logistics invoices across multiple modes
• Proficiency with ERP and TMS platforms, along with strong Excel skills
