Position Description
You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the READINESS & FLEET ANALYTICS DIV, LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Position Duties/Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the logistics planning, processes and documentation that are executed during the acquisition process to ensure that the desired level of logistics supportability is achieved.
- You will establish processes and guidelines that ensure that the supportability analyses performed are logical, analytical, repeatable and auditable, and result in successful identification of maintenance requirements and support alternatives.
- You will ensure compliance with environmental regulations associated with supportability and logistics in the acquisition of aircraft, aircraft systems, and weapon systems.
- You will develop common processes, procedures, and tools for planning, implementing, and sustaining cost-wise readiness improvement initiatives.
- You will provide subject matter expert advice and facilitate the application of logistics concepts and policies across the program, in support of program goals.
