They are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead GenAI adoption and modernize contact centers through AI-powered solutions, focusing on delivering precise, data-driven responses using large language models.

Responsibilities

  • Lead GenAI adoption by acting as the primary expert on a cross-functional team – communicating capabilities, trade-offs, and implementation choices to technical and non-technical stakeholders while guiding solution design and driving alignment.
  • Help modernize contact centers and service desks through enhanced self-service and virtual agent capabilities
  • Implement GenAI with large language models (LLMs) and retrieval augmented generation (RAG) to deliver precise, data-driven responses
  • Enhance virtual agents through advanced features including classification and sentiment analysis
  • Build an agentic framework enabling service ticket management, account administration, and intelligent journey orchestration

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent years of experience
  • Experienced data scientist who contributes beyond modeling – facilitating collaboration, guiding teams through uncertainty, and translating AI strategy into actionable plans in mixed-maturity environments.
  • Experience with GenAI using large language models (LLMs), RAG, and knowledge bases
  • Expertise in AI/ML technologies on Google Cloud and AWS including Bedrock, Lambda, and SageMaker
  • Experience in machine learning and statistical techniques and modeling with both quantitative and qualitative data
  • Experience with Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, and PyTorch/TensorFlow
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, solve problems, communicate effectively, and implement novel solutions in a dynamic field
  • Ability to obtain a public trust
  • Experience fine-tuning LLMs for specific use cases
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools in Google Vertex AI and Microsoft Azure
  • Background in NLP and conversational AI design
  • Experience with agentic frameworks and orchestration systems
  • Experience in forecasting, anomaly detection, classification, and clustering
  • Skilled in data visualization using python and BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
  • Experience with data pipelines, ETL processes, and database management
  • Experience in government contracting
  • Experience integrating AI solutions with legacy systems
