Non-Profit Coordinator

We’re Hiring: Non-Profit Coordinator! We are seeking a Development Coordinator (also known as a Donor Services Coordinator or Non-Profit Specialist) to join our client’s growing team. This is a temp-to-hire role with the objective of permanent placement after 8 successful weeks. The right candidate will have 3 years of donor services or nonprofit experience, with strong skills in coordinating payments, processing donations, and updating gifts in Raiser’s Edge or a similar donor management system.

You’ll work alongside two other team members in a collaborative environment where accuracy, compliance, and donor stewardship are critical.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process and update donor gifts and contributions using Raiser’s Edge or comparable donor database.
• Ensure compliance with nonprofit regulations and internal policies for handling donations.
• Support acknowledgment letters, gift receipts, and donor stewardship activities.
• Coordinate and track donation/payment schedules and ensure timely updates.
• Collaborate closely with team members to maintain high levels of accuracy and donor satisfaction.
• Assist with additional development and donor services projects as assigned.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience in donor services, nonprofit operations, or gift processing.
• Strong knowledge of nonprofit fundraising rules and donation processing protocols.
• Hands-on experience with Raiser’s Edge or other donor management systems.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a team environment and maintain strong attendance/performance.
• Candidates with healthcare experience will be considered, but nonprofit/donor services background is highly preferred.
