Innovation Project Manager

Client recently launched an Innovation Accelerator (under the Grid Research, Innovation, and Deployment group) to tackle critical challenges ranging from energy efficiency and grid modernization to renewable energy integration and enhanced customer experiences.

Seeking an experience project manager to join our team, developing an advanced energy load management device to enable electrification.

As a Senior Project Manager position that requires mastery of the journey level Project Manager job duties. Under general direction, exercises judgment and discretion and is responsible for all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects and provides a single point of contact for those projects.

Job Duties:

Is able to perform the job duties of a journey level Project Manager. Additional job duties include:

• Applies and adapts project management techniques;

• Project may not be well defined or require creativity or new approaches;

• Obtain commitment on detailed work plans including schedule, cost, resources, contingency and communication plans;

• Obtain management approval as needed; ensure project documentation is maintained;

• Identify, analyze, and address project performance issues;

• Manage the integration of vendor tasks and track and review vendor deliverables;

• Communicate project status to all stakeholders;

• Assess project risk and develop contingency plans; and Identify and communicate lessons learned and best practices.

Electic utilities desired. Electric industry expirience desired.

Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $100.00 – $105.00 per hour.
