Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management efforts within the construction industry. This position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. The Project Coordinator will assist in coordinating various aspects of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project schedules using construction management software.
  • Experience with contracts, RFQs and permitting
  • Experience in custom home building in multi-million dollar homes
  • Assist in the preparation of construction estimates and budgets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate project activities, including scheduling meetings, tracking progress, and managing documentation.
  • Utilize program for project documentation, including blueprint reading and contract management.
  • Monitor project timelines and deliverables, providing updates to stakeholders as necessary.
  • Support the team in maintaining compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on construction sites.
  • Facilitate communication between team members, subcontractors, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations related to project status, schematics, and other relevant information.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in project coordination or management within the construction industry, preferably high end custom homes.
  • Familiarity with construction estimating software such as is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling principles and practices.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using construction management software tools for tracking progress and documentation.
  • Knowledge of contracts, blueprints, and schematics related to construction projects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
