Release Coordinator
Requirements
Must have:
– I require a minimum of 5 years of experience in release management or DevOps coordination. – A solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git version control, and automation of deployments is essential. – Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, and hybrid infrastructure environments is necessary. – I seek excellent organizational and communication skills. – You must possess the ability to manage multiple simultaneous releases and coordinate between teams. – Familiarity with Change Advisory Board (CAB) processes, rollback strategies, and compliance requirements is required. – Experience with monitoring tools and validation after release is expected.
Responsibilities:
- I will expect you to own and oversee the release calendar for various initiatives. – Coordinate deployments across Development, Testing, Staging, and Production environments. – Ensure version control and tracking of artifacts using tools like GitHub and Azure DevOps. – Facilitate CAB meetings and acquire approvals for production releases. – You will define and document rollback procedures and create contingency plans. – Track release metrics while maintaining documentation and a history of releases. – Collaborate with CI/CD Engineers to integrate approval workflows and release gates. – Communicate the status of releases, associated risks, and outcomes to stakeholders and leadership. – Ensure adherence to audit and governance standards during the release process. – Support disaster recovery preparedness through proper management of versions and artifacts.

We prefer candidates with experience in retail or enterprise IT settings. Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and execution is a plus. Familiarity with Rubrik, Dynatrace, and Logic Monitor is also desirable. Additionally, project management certification (such as PMP or Agile) would be advantageous. Experience with Dynamics 365 or large ERP implementations will be considered a plus as well.
