Requirements

Must have:

– I require at least 2 years of experience providing support for Windows, Mac, and/or Linux in a corporate environment. – A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary. – I prefer candidates with an Associate degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience. – A minimum of 2 years of helpdesk or desk-side support experience is essential. – Strong verbal communication abilities are a must. – Candidates should possess the capability to work both independently and collaboratively. – A commitment to quality along with excellent multitasking skills is required.

Responsibilities:

  • I will expect you to provide basic technical assistance to corporate employees. – You will be responsible for diagnosing and troubleshooting issues across Windows, Mac, and Linux operating systems. – Timely responses to inquiries through chat, phone, email, and our ticketing system will be a key part of your duties. – It is important to accurately document customer interactions. – You will need to inform customers of necessary repairs and ensure they are satisfied with the completed work. – Following standard operating procedures and utilizing knowledge management systems will be critical. – I expect you to maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant policies and procedures. – Assisting with system or network outage triage and escalation will be part of your role. – Support for AV presentation equipment and teleconferencing systems will also be required. – You must adhere to shift schedules and demonstrate flexibility for weekends and holidays.
