Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable, secure, and high-performing Java-based enterprise applications.
  • Lead architectural discussions and decisions related to Java, Spring, Microservices, and cloud-based solutions (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
  • Mentor and guide junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce best practices in development and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UI/UX, QA, DevOps, and Product Management to deliver quality solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with coding standards, security protocols, and performance benchmarks.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions in real time.
  1. Diversity & Inclusion Advocacy:
  • Champion inclusive hiring practices in technical teams to ensure a diverse workforce in terms of gender, race, disability, and other underrepresented groups.
  • Facilitate cultural sensitivity training and awareness sessions within the engineering teams.
  • Act as a liaison between leadership and DEI initiatives to improve equitable career development opportunities.
  • Lead employee resource groups (ERGs), tech talks, and community outreach programs focused on inclusion in tech.
  • Work closely with HR, recruitment, and leadership to track and report diversity metrics across technical departments.
  1. Team Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to align development with company goals.
  • Represent diverse voices during product design discussions to ensure user inclusivity and accessibility.
  • Create safe spaces for feedback and innovation by fostering a collaborative and respectful work culture.
  • Support the integration of inclusive design principles in all stages of the software development lifecycle.
