IT Project Manager

Job Description:
Our client is seeking a highly skilled IT Project Manager with a strong background in project management and a deep understanding of IT processes to join their dynamic team. This role involves planning, directing, and coordinating projects of moderate scope and minor complexity, ensuring that all goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame and funding parameters. The ideal candidate will have experience in leading projects that require innovative solutions and a high degree of problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and coordinate a variety of sophisticated projects with significant impact on the organization.
• Understand and define business requirements, assess project risks, and manage the project lifecycle.
• Apply expertise and leadership skills to advise project staff and resolve complex issues.
• Measure and report on project performance, providing regular updates to the leadership team.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients and company partners, and mentor project team members.
• Collaborate with stakeholders on the software development process including requirements gathering, analysis, design, and deployment.
• Utilize business applications effectively to gain a competitive advantage in project management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT-related field or engineering required.
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in project management.
• At least two (2) years of experience specifically in information technology project management.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred.
• Demonstrated strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and other project management tools.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage at all levels of the organization.
• Knowledge of various project management methodologies and tools, resource management practices, and change management techniques.
• Ability to work under limited supervision and make unreviewed decisions.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and adhering to safety guidelines.

Pay Range: $50.00 – $60.00 Hourly

This position offers a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
