Accountant / Financial Reporting Analyst
Hybrid: 3 days per week in office Rate: $45/hr W2 without benefits 12 months Contract

*** ASSOCIATE’S REQUIRED; BACHELOR’S PREFERRED

Qualifications:

  1. Accounting / Finance background.

  2. External reporting and/or public accounting experience.

  3. Self-starter and able to perform effectively with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Help draft quarterly MD&A and footnote disclosures for U.S. Bank subsidiaries, which includes but not limited to reviewing comparable info (MS 10-Q / K and peer filings).

  2. Help compile statement of cashflows for U.S. Bank subsidiaries, which includes working with data providers of this data.

  3. Help ensure accuracy of GAAP reporting by researching / documenting variance drivers.

  4. Help review the framework for Due Diligence / governance/ attestation and help establish new controls where needed.

  5. Familiar with general ledger processes and month-end close as some assistance will be required in these areas.

  6. Assist the team in improvement projects.

  7. Assist the team in meeting senior management directives.

  8. Help support the automation/ technology improvements in SAP and Alteryx.
