Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Pega Lead Business Architect (LBA) to join our team in Trenton, NJ. The ideal candidate will lead multiple cross-functional teams of developers, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to transform business requirements into fully functional Pega applications that align with organizational goals.
The Lead Business Architect will serve as a key liaison between business users, stakeholders, and technology teams, working closely with Lead System Architects and leadership to define and implement business and technical strategies.
Note: This is a Hybrid role requiring on-site presence as needed.
Key Responsibilities:

Act as the bridge between Business and Technology teams, ensuring clear communication between technical and non-technical members.

Collaborate with Product Owners, Stakeholders, and Lead Analysts to capture and translate user stories into actionable business requirements.

Work with technology teams to design and implement solutions that meet business objectives.

Manage software functional requirements across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Participate and lead in Agile/Scrum environments, including sprint planning and backlog grooming.

Document functional requirements, test cases, release notes, and user training materials.

Conduct workshops, facilitate solution acceptance testing, and lead product demonstrations.

Develop process flows, use cases, and wireframes.

Mentor junior Business Analysts and promote best practices within the team.

Identify and mitigate project risks proactively.
Required Skills & Experience:
-
Minimum 9 years of relevant professional experience.

At least 7 years as a Pega Business Architect , including 3 years post Pega BA Certification.

Proven experience in Use Case Development and Business Analysis.

Strong background in requirements gathering, documentation, and process modeling.

Hands-on experience with enterprise-level Pega configuration and deployment.

Extensive experience managing software functional requirements through the SDLC.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and software delivery processes.

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Experience creating and maintaining training materials, functional design documents, and test execution plans.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent technical field required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Broad experience in organizations that design and deliver software solutions to customers.

Strong IT technical background and ability to understand solution architecture.

Prior experience leading client workshops, demos, and software training sessions.
Certifications:
- Pega Certified Business Architect (CBA) Required
