About the role

The position is at a tech company. We are seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Director, People Business Partner to join our team. This highly impactful individual contributor role will act as a key partner to our executive leadership, with a focus on the Go-To Market organization.

In this prominent role, you will be responsible for building trusted relationships with executive leadership, guiding them through critical business decisions and scenarios. As a recognized subject matter expert, you will operate with significant autonomy and influence.

By leveraging your deep understanding of business metrics, you will identify and address complex challenges while leading high-impact projects that advance both our People strategy and business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Impact: Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, aligning business goals with a forward-looking people strategy that drives organizational performance. Your work will shape organizational design, talent management, and overall business effectiveness.
  • Data-Driven Innovation: Lead the use of data to diagnose complex organizational challenges and shape people-related decisions. Go beyond traditional HR practices by leveraging data to measure outcomes and develop innovative solutions.
  • Project Leadership: Take ownership of large-scale, cross-functional people initiatives from conception to execution. Define strategy, secure stakeholder buy-in, and ensure successful delivery with a strong focus on measurable results.
  • Executive Partnership: Build and sustain credible, influential relationships with the leadership team. Provide candid, data-driven insights and challenge existing norms to support a culture of ongoing improvement.
  • Cultural Stewardship: Champion and uphold our core values of Own it, Elevate it, and Send it. Play a pivotal role in ensuring our culture of belonging and transparency grows alongside our business.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience as a People/HR Business Partner, with at least 3 years supporting executive leadership teams. Global exposure is a plus.
  • Expertise in organizational design, talent management, and change leadership.
  • Proven experience working in a rapidly scaling environment, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and continuous change.
  • Strong track record of leveraging data and analytics to shape people strategies and demonstrate tangible impact.
  • History of working with autonomy and strong business acumen to lead and deliver complex, cross-functional initiatives with measurable results.
  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a drive to challenge traditional HR approaches and create new, effective ways of working. Experience with AI is a plus.

Pay:$175k to $190k annually.
