Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced VDC Engineer to join our California-based team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical systems, combined with deep knowledge of BIM/VDC processes, issue tracking, and data management. This is a project-based, mainly remote role with flexible engagement, offering the chance to contribute to high-impact projects in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead VDC processes for modular and traditional construction projects
  • Develop, coordinate, and manage mechanical and electrical system models
  • Utilize Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, and issue-tracking platforms to ensure quality control and project alignment
  • Manage data workflows, dashboards, and reporting with tools like Power BI
  • Track and resolve design and construction issues collaboratively with project teams
  • Support the integration of modular design practices where applicable

Qualifications

✅ Minimum 8 years of professional experience in VDC/BIM-related roles

✅ Expertise in mechanical/electrical systems modeling

✅ Strong knowledge of ,Autodesk Construction Cloud, Navisworks, Revit and issue-tracking platforms

✅ Experience in data management, issue management, and Power BI dashboards

✅ Modular construction experience is a plus

✅ Strong communication skills and ability to work with global, cross-functional teams
