Job Description Inventory and Receiving Specialist Location Carrollton, TX :

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Enter data for quantities of parts issued and transferred between locations, inventory and cycle count adjustments, into computer database.
  • Close shop packets received and purge computer database.
  • Receive and issue finished goods into computer database.
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies with manufacturing and inspection personnel.
  • Record and monitor all items with shelf-life daily and notify appropriate personnel when material has expired.
  • Prepare monthly reports for cycle count and pick-lists count for monthly highlights.
  • Prepare and participate in yearly physical inventory.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Experience in computerized accounting system required
  • Thorough working knowledge of MS Office, particularly of Word, Excel, and Outlook required.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to remain seated 60% of the time
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment and warehouse
  • Must be able to communicate with management and coworkers and be able to exchange accurate information in these situations

  • Must be able to manage stress depending on deadlines
  • Must be able to multitask and stay organized while performing job duties
  • Must be able to receive information and directions
  • Must be able to quickly communicate solutions if problems occur
