Position Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Part-Time Customer Service Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for clients and candidates, delivering exceptional service via phone, email, and chat. You will help resolve inquiries, provide product and service information, and ensure a seamless experience that reflects Ascendion’s values and commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries through multiple channels (phone, email, chat).
  • Resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a positive and helpful attitude.
  • Document customer interactions accurately in internal systems.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., recruiting, operations, tech support) to resolve complex cases.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues when necessary.
  • Stay updated on company services, tools, and processes to effectively support customers.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment by sharing feedback and suggesting improvements.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
  • 1+ years of customer service or support experience, preferably in a tech or staffing environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficient with basic computer systems, CRM tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends if required.
