Frontend Software Engineering Intern
Integrate BPD | Fall –Winter 2025 | Part-time | Remote
Integrate BPD is a fast-growing mental health startup delivering self-led therapy for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) and related personality conditions. We’re now looking for a small, skilled team of engineering interns to help us develop the MVP of our own custom platform, replacing third-party hosting and tools with something more clinically powerful, data-driven, and tailored to our unique method.
This is an opportunity to build something that could eventually serve tens of thousands — and to gain portfolio-ready experience in full-stack development, UX planning, and mental health innovation.
Goal
Work with our team and other engineers to finish developing a working MVP, with core functionality including:
- Step-by-step module progression (video, text, reflection tasks)
- Symptom and injury tracking throughout the program
- Internal admin and external user dashboards to view progress
- Integration with Discord and/or community access for 24/7 communication
- Integration with Zoom for video access / coaching / class delivery
Ideal Candidates
We’re looking for college students or recent grads in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Data Science, ideally with experience in:
- Frontend: React, Next, TypeScript
- Bonus: Experience with health tech, psychology, or user research
Structure
- Remote & flexible hours (5–12 hours/week)
- Collaborate in small pods (frontend, backend, UX)
- Weekly standups and progress reviews
- Mentorship from founder and product managers
- Opportunity for letter of recommendation
This is an unpaid internship, but ideal for students looking for:
- School credit or capstone project
- Real-world startup experience
- A portfolio case that shows frontend product development
- A chance to build something meaningful in the mental health space
