Requirements
Must have:
I am looking for candidates who possess an Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field, along with at least one year of technical support experience, or a minimum of three years of direct technical support experience, ideally in a pharmacy or healthcare setting. Preferred certifications include A+ and Network+. Candidates should have experience supporting Microsoft business applications such as Windows OS, Office 365, SharePoint, and Citrix environments. Familiarity with virtual environments (Citrix, VMware) and network infrastructure support, including LAN/WAN, routers, firewalls, VPNs, and remote access solutions is important. Proficiency in providing end-user technical support for hardware, software, and peripherals (e.g., Sage, Framework, DocuTrack, printers), as well as experience with Active Directory and various label printers, is essential. Understanding of IT ticketing systems and change management protocols is also required.
Responsibilities:
As a Tier 2 Support Specialist, I will depend on you to deliver IT support for technical issues related to Microsoft’s core business applications and virtual environments built on Citrix, Microsoft, and VMware. You will also provide IT support services for Zebra and Sato label printers and scanners, along with various other label and laser printers. Your role will include offering technical assistance for Microsoft-related technologies, such as Windows Server, O365, and SharePoint. You will support end users with hardware, software, and peripheral devices, and provide technical services at the network level, focusing on WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, and security. Additionally, you will implement and support remote access solutions like VPN and Citrix, manage user accounts, document systems, communicate incident progress to end users, and collaborate with the Engineering and Application support teams as necessary. It is crucial to adhere to Clarest’s Code of Conduct and report any suspected compliance violations.

The salary is between $28.00 and $30.00 per hour, non-exempt with overtime eligibility.
