This Director of Financeis a newly created position reporting to the CFO that will oversee all aspects of organizational FPA function. Acting as a strategic partner to senior leadership, this individual will lead key initiatives in planning, forecasting, and performance analysis to drive growth and profitability. This is fantastic opportunity to build and shape the FP&A function within a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities of the Director of Finance
- Oversee design and execution of budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to support informed business decisions
- Create and maintain sophisticated financial models aimed at performance evaluation
- Perform financial and operational results analysis, highlight key trends, and recommend actions to improve profitability and efficiency
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reporting packages, including variance analysis and performance metrics, for senior leadership
- Work collaboratively with business unit management on new opportunities, products, and initiatives assessment through detailed projections and scenario analyses
- Maintain compliance with financial standards and reporting requirements
- Drive development of multi-year planning models, including analysis of balance sheet and cash flow impacts
- Collaborate with Treasury and other functions to enhance cash flow forecasting and support effective liquidity management
Requirements of the Director of Finance
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree preferred
- 8-10 years finance experience, with emphasis on Treasury and FP&A functions
- GAPP, compliance requirements, and financial reporting proficiency
- Ability to effectively oversee all aspects of audit process
- Advanced financial modeling experience, with focus on cash flow forecasting
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail
- M&A evaluation, debt financing management, and capital markets experience highly preferred
Additional Details:
Salary: $275k bonus
Employment Type: direct hire
The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
