Roles and Responsibilities:

Installation and configuration Oracle Database on Unix.

Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC) and ASM support.

Strong database and operating system concepts.

Should have good experience in administering Oracle DBs versions 19c in a high availability environment, experience in implementing DB upgrades

Experience with GoldenGate .

Database patching and upgrade support.

Diagnose and address database performance issues.

Manages database backup & recovery procedures, disaster recovery preparation and the associated exercises.

DR and High Availability solutions such as Data Guard, RAC.

Have knowledge in performance monitoring & tuning.

Tune the database to ensure optimum use of resources.

Troubleshoot Database / Goldengate related issues.
